This place is your classic country Cafe. Cake/pie case when you walk in. Neat decor on the walls. A small merch stand for the #pointer nation. So much fun and character!! The food was good, service was better and prices couldn't be beat. They kept the coffee warm and coming and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The home made blueberry pie had a light and flakey crust and was filled with fresh blueberries. De-licious.

Omg had the bestest ever soup there today. A first for me taco SOUP- it was G R E A T! Side of sour cream and tostitos...yummm!

We eat here often. The food is homemade and always delicious. They offer great specials, too. Everyone is friendly, and the list of desserts is unbelievable. I would highly recommend The Pointer Cafe.

When I first came into the place the people we’re very welcoming and they were amazing on the hospitality, but you don’t get stars for just being pilot. The hash browns I order were not fully done, the scrambled eggs tasted tangy to them. The only thing that was actually cooked right was the toast and even then they burnt those just a lil bit

Not very lively. Could use some festivity or excitement, but it's an absolutely wonderful diner with amazing food.

What are unique place in the middle of Mineral Point all the atmosphere of small town diner and the food was all home made to order

Pointer has great food!! I almost always get blueberry pancakes, but can attest to the whole menu being tasty. Plus you always run into folks you know. Super charming.

Perfect place for an easy and delicious home-cooked breakfast. Try the pancakes with their blueberry syrup!

Wonderful experience. Very friendly service. Good food. We were able to sit and have a comfortable lunch and conversation, which included many coffee refills.

Plenty of room easy access to get there and nice people friendly atmosphere. Recommend trying.

Food was good, standard breakfast fare, I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. It was freshly prepared, not out of a can, and there was a lot of gravy on the plate. I actually put the extra over my hash browns. Service was good, very attentive.

The food is always fresh and yummy, staff members provides fantastic customer service. I loved the cleanliness and character. Will come visit again.

Pasty w/homemade bread and cottage cheese was delicious. Freshly baked German Chocolate cake was tasty. I will be back in the near future.

Nice local cafe. Plenty of space. Not speedy, but decent food. Not far off Hwy 151. If you’re tired of McD this is a old school option.

Home cooked food. Small town,country feel. Its nothing fancy, but sometimes it doesn't need to be. Pleasant and timely service.

Nothing fancy but decent American fair food. Husband enjoyed his pie greatly. Has a country home type of environment as well as the small town everybody knows everybody feel!

Come on out to the Pointer Cafe!!! Great place to eat!!! Tonight we had Cake for Allisa 12th bday at pointer cafe!!! Great place, great food and staff is awesome from the very busy and awesome cooks, friendly and sweet waitress's!!! Nice just have a cup coffee and visit with family and friends too!!!

Great food, great service, cute cafe!

My boyfriend and I moved to Mineral Point in June and this was one of the first places we ate. We've been there a handful of times. Each time we've gone, there are usually no clean tables. The waitresses are normally too busy talking to customers that they know and tend not to pay much attention to those they do not. We have waited close to ten minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us after handing us a menu. The chicken salad is very good. The chicken sandwich is not. The last time we were there, we decided to try the pies. I ordered a slice of pumpkin cheesecake and my boyfriend ordered a slice of pecan. When the waitress brought the slices over, I knew something was off right away. She had microwaved both pieces to the point where we had to wait for them to cool off before we could eat them. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't think cheesecake should be eaten warm.

We were traveling and stopped here for Sunday dinner. The cafe is clean & nicely decorated. The menu was varied, and food was good. Staff was friendly & willing, but needs positive leadership to work as a team. Service should have been better with so many on the shift.

Cute little hometown cafe, could have done without the play area full of screaming children. Other wise a good place to stop for a quick bite.

Standard Cafe fare for breakfast. Insanely fast food prep. Took about 3 minutes for 2 breakfast plates to make it to our table. Omlete was good, a little heavy on the onions but I dig that. Service was friendly, and frequent. I would come back again when I'm in the area.

We came here for lunch. Very large menu and the prices were very affordable. Our waitress was great. Very kind and attentive. I had a super delish Reuben and my husband bad the BLT . They had a ginormous menu for home made pies. We were full, but wish we could have tried a couple!

Excellent food @ a fair price! You won't go away hungry. Would of gave a 5 star, but a little slow in taking our order, probably not fair because they were so busy.

The people were very friendly n the food ok. My wife loved her Ruben sandwich n my buddy lived his roast beef n mashed potatoes. My roast beef sandwich on sourdough would have been much better with twice the beef. The fries were very good. Nice place w nice decor

Best food in Mineral Point Wisconsin. I love the old feel of this place and the prices are cheap for the qaulty of food they have. It's a good meal for great price try it for yourself.
